This 1997 AM General Hummer is one of 580 four-passenger wagons produced for the model year. The vehicle is painted Gloss White with gray cloth. Engine is a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
16.5″ steel wheels, brush guard, roof rack, central tire inflation system, winch, air conditioning, keyless entry, power windows, Monsoon audio sound system, and a Clarion head unit.
This vehicle is reportedly one of 32 four-passenger wagons finished in Gloss White (W8) for the model year. Original paint and some paint chips are noted around the body.
Steel 16.5″ eight-lug wheels with Goodyear Wrangler MT military tires. A spare wheel and tire is included in the sale. The four-wheel independent suspension features coil springs at each corner, as well as inboard disc brakes and portal axles.
Air condition is not currently functioning. Vehicle has a heated windshield, power windows, keyless entry, storage pouches in all four doors, floor mats, a Delco six-disc CD changer, a Monsoon audio system, and an aftermarket Clarion head unit.
There is a dash-mounted tachometer with a 3,400-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, fuel level, and tire pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 69k miles. The voltmeter is inoperable.
The turbocharged 6.5-liter Detroit Diesel V8 was factory rated at 195 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is a four-speed 4L80E automatic and a two-speed transfer case.
